Rain outs/rescheduled games are the responsibility of each manager.

CONCESSION STAND

SLL offers concessions unrivaled in the area.  It is not only a favorite of the locals and visiting towns, but a large source of revenue for the league.

UMPIRES

Though we use an outside vendor for umpires, many of the umpires are current or former players from SLL.  This unique situation allows for any of our older players to explore another side of the game but also adds just one for reason why all umpires, regardless of age, deserve respect  for a thankless and honestly difficult job.

DISCOUNTS

If you have more than one child in the league, the followings discounts are available:
Second child:  $20 off the registration fee of the second child.
Third+ child: No Raffle Tickets, equals out to an $80 discount.

The registration fees help cover; Field maintenance, catchers equipment, game balls, batting helmets, lights, umpires where applicable and uniforms (Jersey (with number), cap, pants, belt, socks. There is an option to get your players last name on the back of the jersey and number on the back of the hat.  This is facilitated by the manager and team mom and optional per player at an extra charge, in the past this has cost around $7.00.

T-BALL (The beginning of it all)

Ages:  4-6

Dates: Late April through early July

Location:  Dolphin Park*

*For the 2016 Regular Season, we are in discussions with Bartlett Little League about playing some T-Ball games at both Bartlett and Streamwood.

Approximately 15 games , weather dependent

The hope to keep the team sizes somewhat smaller than the older ages to allow for more playing time.  However, this is greatly dependent on the overall numbers of T-ball participants.

The flexibility of the program allows for players to hit off of a tee or be pitched to by a coach depending on skill level.

T-Ball uniforms are of minor league baseball teams.  All T-ball players must wear an approved helmet with the full face cage when batting.  T-ball players use the t-ball safety ball, it’s a little softer than a real league ball.

Costs:  $75.00 + $80 for raffle tickets ($80 dollars of the fee are recouped if raffle tickets are sold).  Discounts for multiple siblings are available.

Team Snacks:  All teams are required to purchase team snacks following games at Dolphin.  The costs per player is about two ($2.00) dollars for a drink and snack.
